TWS is a K-12 co-educational residential cum day boarding school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi vide Afiliation No: 3430229. It is spread across 64 acres of lush green undulating land, amidst natural valleys. It has been designed as a premier educational institute that promotes the holistic development of students.

PROCEDURE

Our Admissions Committee is responsible for making all decisions regarding student applications. In their assessment of an application, the Committee takes the following information into account:

  • Student’s profile
  • Family background
  • Parents’ profile
  • Previous academic background
  • Performance on TWS standardised entrance assessments
  • Availability of seats at the recommended grade level

The admissions office must receive a completed application, including all supporting documents, before a student is considered for admission. Parents will have to purchase the Registration Kit by paying a sum of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only), which includes the application form.

After the Admissions Committee approves the application and verifies the submitted documents, parents will need to remit all necessary fees. Please note that admission will only be granted, and student be allowed to attend the class, when all fees are paid and all required documents are submitted. This should be done by the first day of the session.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Parents must ensure that the school receives the following documents at the time of seeking admission.

Kindergarten to Grade I

  1. A completed, signed application form
  2. Copy of the student’s authentic birth certificate showing date of birth.
  3. Copy of the student’s blood group report
  4. Passport size photographs of student – 10 nos. each
  5. Passport size photographs of both parents/guardians – 5 nos. each
  6. Passport size photographs of local guardian (applicable for boarding students only)- 5 nos. each
  7. ID proof of the local guardian (applicable for boarding students only)

Grade II- Grade XII

  1. A completed, signed application form
  2. Copy of the student’s authentic birth certificate showing date of birth
  3. Original transfer certificate from the previous school.
  4. Copy of the report card of the last examination given by the student.
  5. Copy of the student’s blood group report
  6. Passport size photographs of student – 10 nos. each
  7. Passport size photographs of both parents/guardians – 5 nos. each
  8. Passport size photographs of local guardian (applicable for boarding students only) – 5 nos. each
  9. ID proof of the local guardian (applicable for boarding students only)
ELIGIBILITY

Kindergartens
We begin accepting new applications in November for the school year that begins in first week of April of the next year. Our Taurian World School Kindergarten is a day program. Children must have passed their third or fourth birthday by the start of the school year in April in order to be considered for that year’s Lower & Upper Kindergarten programs respectively.

Grades 1 – 9
Grade 1 students must have passed their fifth birthday by the start of school in April for the year they want to attend. This standard remains the same for those who wish to join in mid-term. Applications should be made from November through March.

Grade 10th and 12th
For Grade 10th and 12th, admission may be granted as stipulated in the CBSE Examination Bye – Laws, provided seats are available.

Grade 11
All applications must be received and processed in June for students to begin promptly at the beginning of the academic year. Registration and provisional admissions subject to Grade 10 results may be granted to deserving students from April onwards.

FEE STRUCTURE

As an unaided, independent private school, we maintain high standards of academic delivery and excellent infrastructure and facilities. The fee structure and policies of the school are designed to support this infrastructure and maintain its high academic standards.

The fee structure for the Academic Year 2016-2017 is available with the Admission Officer, and can also be downloaded from the link below. Any revision in fees are notified to parents before the commencement of the academic year.

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

The school’s budget is determined based on the admission number at the start of the academic year. Financial commitments are thus made to teachers and staff, and also towards investments in facilities. Therefore, requests for pro-rated tuition charges as a result of illness, unexpected departures or extended holidays may only be granted proportionately as per CBSE guidelines.
